Public Relations Working Group

The mission of the Public Relations Committee shall be: To promote and inform Kentucky veterinarians and the general public regarding the activities and functions of the KVMA and the veterinary profession.

The Goals of the Public Relations Committee shall be:

1. To inform and educate the general public, through various venues, regarding the activities of KY veterinarians that safeguards the health and general well-being of the public.
2. To inform and educate the general public regarding the health and safety issues involving animals.
3. To inform and educate student groups, such as 4-H, FFA and others, concerning the career opportunities in veterinary medicine.
4. To inform and educate KY veterinarians concerning the activities of the KVMA and the essential role of all veterinarians concerning animal welfare issues.
